Werner Güntner, Managing Director of SoftconCIS, is part of the team of lecturers for the certificate course in purchasing control. The course is offered in cooperation with the Ohm Professional School (Technical University of Nuremberg). Werner Güntner has many years of experience in purchasing and logistics: Among other things, he headed purchasing controlling at Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte for five years; since founding SoftconCIS almost 25 years ago, he has been managing the company, which specializes in purchasing controlling. Werner Güntner has been committed to training and continuing education as well as to the continuous exchange with professional colleagues for many years. That is why he also founded the SoftconCIS Academy, which offers open seminars and roundtable discussions for purchasing managers and purchasing controllers, among other things. He will now pass on his extensive practical experience and industry knowledge to students in the certificate course in purchasing controlling.

The part-time, practice-oriented certificate course at the Ohm Professional School will take place again this year. It offers students the opportunity for further training in the areas of purchasing controlling in procurement and supply chain management. Theory, methods, and tools, as well as their practical application, are the focus of this course. That is why the team of lecturers includes not only professors but also representatives from the field.

“I am looking forward to once again being a lecturer on the certificate course in purchasing controlling and passing on my knowledge,” explains Werner Güntner, Managing Director of SoftconCIS. “Purchasing plays a central, strategic role in companies and can significantly influence the company’s results – with the right know-how, suitable methods, and modern tools, costs can be reduced considerably. That is why highly trained purchasing controllers are in such high demand.”
