The selection of suitable evaluation criteria, their weighting, the consideration of the extent to which quality and logistics data from the ERP systems used can be utilized, and the type of questionnaires to be used for soft facts are important preliminary considerations for a goal- and process-oriented supplier evaluation.
At the end of the evaluation process, hard and soft facts are compared so that, in addition to evaluation points, assessments from the specialist departments are also available and the development potential and risks of the individual suppliers are documented. Based on this information, dialogue with suppliers is supported and managed in a goal- and results-oriented manner.
