Thanks to the huge demand, the purchasing controlling specialist recorded a 20 percent increase in new orders in 2013 compared to the previous year. Other success drivers were the \u201cpurchasing planning,\u201d \u201csupplier evaluation,\u201d and \u201cpurchasing performance\u201d modules. The 360\u00b0 analysis was also very well received: This joint offering from management consultancy Horv\u00e1th &amp; Partners and SoftconCIS takes a comprehensive look at purchasing organizations. The partners then recommend strategic and organizational optimizations and identify the overall savings potential. Another trend last year was that, in addition to manufacturing companies, many non-manufacturing companies and corporations, such as those in the insurance industry, are now also turning to strategic purchasing controlling.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are delighted to have had one of the strongest years in our company&#8217;s history. The market&#8217;s first browser-enabled purchasing control system \u2013 our WebCIS \u2013 has struck exactly the right chord.
