Userday, Webinar Day, Seminar, and eSolution Days offer customers and interested parties various platforms for exchanging experiences and acquiring knowledge.

The new year kicks off with numerous events where customers and interested parties can exchange ideas on the topic of purchasing control in order to gain the right impetus in 2020 for better alignment of purchasing towards a more agile purchasing organization.

Here is an overview of the dates:

  • March 5, 2020: User Day at our customer ENGIE Germany in Cologne
  • March 24 & 25, 2020: 11th BME eLösungstage at the Hotel Maritim in Düsseldorf
  • April 2, 2020: Webinar day for our customers’ users
  • April 23, 2020: Seminar “The golden rules of analytical purchasing control” in Cologne

User Day:

Purchasing control in practice at ENGIE is the central topic of the event. Participants will learn about the tasks and objectives of purchasing and how purchasing control works in practice at ENGIE. In addition, discussion and exchange of experiences will be at the forefront.

SoftconCIS will present the latest innovations relating to the WebCIS 4.0 application (including an outlook on the further development of new topics such as liquidity and bonus simulation, risk analyses, and early warning systems). WebCIS 4.0 with a new look and feel and built-in RoboAdvisor—the digital assistant for purchasing—is another highlight.

The event will conclude with a presentation on professional product group management – those who can analyze have a clear advantage – by Frank Sundermann from Durch Denken Vorne Consult.

BME eLösungstage:

You can also meet us again this year at the BME eLösungstage from March 24-25, 2020, in Düsseldorf. FROM HYPE TO PRACTICE – Roadmap for the digitalization of purchasing and supply chain management. Much has already been said about the digital transformation of purchasing and supply chain management, but there is still a long way to go. The motto is: get out of the hype and into practice! Purchasing experts will meet in Düsseldorf for the 11th time to discuss this issue.

We invite you to visit us at our booth or take part in the workshop “Success formula for purchasing controlling – a guide to setting up and developing successful purchasing control” (Tuesday, March 24, 2020, 2:30–4:15 p.m.).

Webinar day:

On April 2, 2020, SoftconCIS is hosting a full-day webinar with practical topics related to the application of WebCIS 4.0. The offer is aimed at customers who would like to expand their knowledge to make better use of the solution.

There are various topics to choose from, which can be booked individually. Learn more from our experts Thomas Meeh and Dietmar Schild on topics such as measuring P&L-effective savings, reporting automation/dashboards, RoboAdvisor, and Deep Dive Process Analytics.

The topics are divided into four 60-minute blocks. Invitations will be sent out in the next few days. Registration is possible by email for the relevant webinar topics. Participants will receive an invitation by email with access details in good time before the event begins.

Seminar “The golden rules of analytical purchasing control” in Cologne:

Focusing on the value contribution of purchasing, especially in difficult economic times, getting to the heart of purchasing key figures, and moving from purchasing reporting to purchasing controlling are the exciting topics of this one-day seminar.

We ask the challenging question of the extent to which digital assistants in purchasing can be used to derive potential and options for action from key figures in order to generate more savings in purchasing.

In addition, participants will learn how to extract meaningful key figures from data, design their reporting in a targeted, meaningful, and recipient-oriented manner, and actively use it as a control and management tool to become a recognized business partner within the company through meaningful controlling.

You will meet purchasers, purchasing controllers, and purchasing managers and have the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other and with experts from the field.
