- “Purchasing Manager Cockpit” provides a quick overview
- “Supplier Quick Scan” as a basis for preparing for negotiations
- Standard system includes all dashboards – drill down to document level
SoftconCIS, a specialist in purchasing controlling, is introducing new dashboards for its browser-enabled purchasing controlling system WebCIS. The dashboards enable purchasers to better prepare for negotiations, create target group-oriented, coherent reports, and design activity schedules, among other things. The system contains a total of more than 250 ready-made analyses and key figures that can be customized within seconds. Users can easily access the dashboards via the WebCIS portal.
A cockpit is now available for purchasing managers, bringing together all important data: share of maverick buying, budget, changes in material costs, suppliers, countries, currencies, payment terms, cash accounts, and much more. The overview can be used directly as a report for management, as the figures are also presented in a visually appealing way tailored to the target group. SoftconCIS has also developed a purchasing negotiation sheet that gives buyers a quick overview of a supplier. This supplier quick scan contains figures on volume and material cost development, top 5 product groups and parts, invoice volume development, and delivery and payment terms. Furthermore, a wide range of analyses are possible via the dashboards: Selected suppliers, product groups, and material numbers can be compared to a freely selectable index—with just a few clicks, the results are optimally prepared for the executive board. The WebCIS portal offers many other ready-made analyses. For example, users can benchmark company codes with regard to maverick buying or the benefits of payment terms, or examine suppliers in a product group in terms of cost development or pricing for identical parts.
Purchasing professionals can also easily design their own dashboards in WebCIS and present values in an appealing graphical format. All diagrams, dashboards, and analyses can be customized and used dynamically as required – drill-down to the document level is possible without any problems. The dashboards enable purchasers to make well-informed decisions quickly.
“Our motto is: individuality in a standard system! That’s why the basic version of the browser-enabled WebCIS purchasing control system already includes many pre-configured dashboards. This makes the work of the purchasing department much easier,” explains Werner Güntner, Managing Director of SoftconCIS. “However, we know that many purchasing organizations have additional requirements. That’s why it’s so easy to create new dashboards. For more specific requirements, we also offer a workshop in which we work with the customer to develop and design suitable dashboards – completely customized.”
WebCIS is the first web-based purchasing control system. Purchasing experts can easily access the user interface via their browser. The purchasing control system from SoftconCIS is particularly intuitive to use and can be quickly put into operation: SAP and other ERP systems can be connected in just a few days, and an intelligent algorithm automatically cleans up the data. More than 300 customers currently rely on SoftconCIS’s 15 years of industry expertise.
