SoftconCIS was founded in 1996 in Oberhaching – not by traditional IT specialists, but by procurement professionals with deep process expertise. From the very beginning, our goal was clear: to make procurement controlling smarter – with software that creates transparency, maps processes, and empowers decision-makers.

We were the first to launch a fully integrated software suite for procurement controlling – long before terms such as “procurement analytics” were even known.

In 2002, we took the next strategic step: opening our Cologne office – in close proximity to many economically strong companies in the Rhine-Ruhr region. At the same time, we developed our own hosting models and established our own data center, now ISO 27001-certified – ensuring maximum security, availability, and data sovereignty.

Today, around 50 specialists are working on the fourth generation of our software – a best-of-breed solution successfully implemented in over 450 cross-industry customer projects. We grow with every challenge, train our future professionals in-house, and consistently focus on sustainable development – both technologically and in terms of personnel.
